Mathematics is evolving everyday in the classroom. At Kotara School we have had the challenge of providing learning experiences to multi-stage classes with varying abilities which are authentic and relevant to students while maintaining the integrity of the curriculum.
We use the Targeting Maths program to supplement our maths lessons. The full colour activity books are engaging for students with activities that cover each topic comprehensively. Students also find the interactive labs are a great way to reinforce what they have been learning in their lesson.
Mathletics is incorporated into our maths program to differentiate the curriculum and provide learning experiences for students who require that little bit 'extra' to motivate them. While at Kotara School students receive a unique login and password which allows them to access Mathletics during their stay. They also have this login and password to take home and use when transitioning back to their home school.
